Keyboard shortcuts save time an stress when it comes to multitasking and we are doing a lot of works in a short time frame. New shortcuts which have been added to windows 8 are also of great help.




10 New Windows 8.1 Keyboard Shortcuts:
  1. Escape Key: Esc key will take you back to the desktop screen if you are on the start screen
  2. Win+D: This will show or hide the Desktop page.
  3. Win+T: This opens the taskbar  on desktop or start screen.
  4. Alt+F4: This shutdowns the windows store app completely and take it back to the desktop.
  5. Win+Tab: This switch between apps that the computer is currently running.
  6. Win+.+Right Arrow or Win+.+ Left Arrow: This will place four apps sides by sides.
  7. Alt+Tab: This helps to switch between all apps which also includes the desktop apps.
  8. End key: On the start screen, the End key would help to take you to the last, left-most tile or icon, below the row.
  9. Home Key: On the start screen, the home key shortcut would help to take you to the First, left top tile or icon.
  10. Win+ Down Arrow: This helps to close the windows store app, and makes it run in the background silently.
