Some low end Android phones and other devices need to be rooted before they can install some applications because of some limitations that the manufacturer has set for good functionality of the device.
Though rooting an android device will break those limitations but its at owner risk.
Tecno Phantom A+ F7 and N9 pad are among the current android devices that are really ruling the 'smartphone world' because of their great specifications but they are limited to some operations and installation of some application. Rooting them will surely break most (if not all) of these limitations.
In this post, you will learn how to root those devices in a step by step form. I will like to advice you; whenever you want to perform this, make sure that all the requirements are fully ready before you will start this operation also ensure that the device and the laptop you are going to use are fully charged as well.
How To Root Phantom A+ F7 and N9 pad
You will need these 5 things to carry out this operation;
1. Computer (Desktop or Laptop)
2. USB cable for Tecno Device (Original)
3. PDANET+ (Download it Here)
4. EROOT (Download it Here)
Now when you get all those requirements then proceed to the following steps for the rooting;
Follow this 7 steps very carefully.
Step 1: In your device goto Settings > Applications > Development. NB: You might not see Development in your own device settings then check Settings > about phone > then tap the build number for about 10times, now go back you suppose to see the Developer option.
Step 2: Tap on the development icon, switch it on and switch to USB debugging option (Don’t touch anything here except the USB debugging)
Step 3: Now Connect Your Tecno Phantom A+ F7 or N9 to the computer or Laptop.
After the connection, then Select USB storage or media device on your android device (if that shows).
Step 4: After the device has being connected to the computer or laptop, Now open the Eroot that you've downloaded earlier, it will display the name of your device such as Tecno N9 or F7 just like the image below.
After that Ignore the other writings which are probably be written in Chinese language.
Step 5: You will see a Green button with the name "ROOT", Now click it and your Device will be rooted in few minutes or even seconds time.
Step 6: When the above step has been surely completed, then go to your menu and you will see SuperUser already installed there.
Step 7: Now restart your device.
Congrat!!! You device has been successfully rooted. You can now be installing any application that is installable without any limitation.
NB: While installing the PDANET+, you will be asked to select your phone model,
Just select others also be assured that you are running the PDANET+ when the rooting process is going on.
